Magnus Pacific's technical team is recognized nationally for expertise in specialty geotechnical and environmental construction. Louay Owaidat, President, has authored or co-authored ten technical papers that address a range of specialty geotechnical construction applications such as constructing soil-cement-bentonite cutoff walls to strengthen and prevent underseepage of levees, using stone columns for building foundations in weak, heterogeneous soils, constructing soil-bentonite cutoff walls to contain groundwater contamination, and installing interceptor trenches to lower the groundwater table.

The technical papers herein provide overviews of initial conditions and design criteria, construction methodologies, quality control and testing parameters, as well as safety considerations. They also provide performance analyses, conclusions and recommendations.
