Magnus Pacific believes that zero incident performance is the first measure of success for every project. Zero incident performance, which means no injuries, property damage, adverse community or environmental impacts, will never be jeopardized to achieve production goals or profits. All Magnus Pacific staff, from senior managers and supervisors to field crews, are responsible for focusing on safety and accident prevention every day, on every task, for every project. Our professional safety managers, OSHA 500 certified trainers with more than 13 years of experience in geotechnical construction and hazardous waste site remediation, train all new staff to OSHA 10 and 30 hour construction industry standards. All project managers and site superintendents have received OSHA 8 hour management and supervisory training. All crew members are OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER trained and receive 8 hour refresher training on an annual basis. Our safety managers develop behavior based task-specific safety plans that mitigate all hazards that could realistically occur. We focus our entire team, managers, crew, and subcontractors on safety by holding daily tailgate meetings to review hazards and mitigation approaches prior to initiating the day’s tasks. |
Magnus Pacific’s highly effective safety program means that you can be assured of zero incident performance on your project.
Our safety managers follow up continuously to ensure all personnel adhere to site safety plans. In addition, open communication concerning safety issues, such as potentially unsafe working conditions or suggestions for improvement, is actively encouraged between Magnus Pacific staff at all levels. Magnus Pacific’s highly effective safety program means that you can be assured of zero incident performance on your project. |
